Three.js is a lightweight cross-browser JavaScript library/API used to create and display animated 3D computer graphics on a Web browser. Three.js scripts may be used in conjunction with the HTML5 canvas element, SVG or WebGL. The source code is hosted in a repository on GitHub.

Check out these awesome demos of what three.js is capable of!

But if you want to create something using three.js on your own and need an editor, check out this online tool that lets you play around with everything form rendering, to mapping - all from your browser. Loads of fun, and a great learning experience into three.js!
